Welcome! My 2017 theme is UnSimply She Fiction. Each post begins with a simple sentence about a She. This fictional She is anything but simple. She may be dark. She may be funny. You may relate to her. You many not like her at all…She is revealing her truth.
She thought, “How Crazy Am I?”
How crazy are we? It’s amazing how angry we get over the smallest things.
The actually fought over a free, frozen, supermarket turkey. She wanted to dress it with cayenne spice and coco powder.
He wrinkled his nose and barked a hard, “No.”
“What?” She retorted with a complimentary nostril flare.
“After a long day at work I would like to know I am coming home to a meal I want to eat,” he responded like a 1950’s nightmare.
The verbal sparring battered on for another 10 minutes.
Slam! Stomp!
They both went to their neutral zones.
She stood in the middle of their bedroom. She wasn’t sad. She was shocked.
How could a turkey bring out so much crazy?
They agreed on child care, religion, and politics. Throw a turkey into the mix and LOOK OUT!
She realized how ridiculous they were.
What if the last conversation they had was an explosive argument over turkey?
She decided to call it a draw and make Hamburger Helper for dinner.
Haha! So true. Sometimes it’s the little things that bring out the crazy 😀

Thank you! The littlest things bring up such big issues! This story is based on a fight my husband and I had over Corned Beef! It wasn’t as nasty as this fictional She, but it was heated!

Haha, my hubby is from TN so very opinionated about some things, like NO sugar in cornbread ever. It’s so silly sometimes!

Sometimes when people fight over a little thing there is really a big thing underlying that needs to be addressed.
