X Marks The Spot, She bitterly mused.
The X taunted her. All she had to do was sign.
She kept everything.
She is not Old Money. She hates the term New Money. She is an Empire.
Her nails ripped from their cuticles as she climbed out of the proverbial pit to the Top.
She is amazed how a man could knock her back down to the bottom. She looked in the mirror and she saw the insecure, mousey thing she was before she had Drive.
At one time her drive enchanted her soul. Then he filled her soul with love, contrived love.
She saw the pictures of him running around with a Miss X.
She no longer had a soul.
She signed next to the X. Time for him to slither back down into his proverbial pit.
